Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Natal Settings collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The short version: I collect only what I need to do the work you have asked for, I do not sell or share your data for marketing, and I treat what you tell me as confidential.
Who is responsible for your data
Natal Settings is a sole practice run by Margo Shevnin, based in Cyprus. I am the data controller for any personal information you share with me.
You can reach me at hello@natalsettings.com with any question about this policy or your data.
What I collect
When you enquire or book a consultation
- Your name and email address, so I can reply and work with you.
- Your birth details — date, time and place of birth. These are needed to produce your chart and reading.
- What you choose to tell me about your situation, your question, and your life. Depending on the consultation, this may include personal or sensitive information — about your relationship, your family, your work, or how you are feeling.
For Partnership and Group consultations
These readings involve more than one person, which means I will also receive the name and birth details of your partner, your family members, or your team.
You are responsible for making sure the other people involved know about this and agree to it. If a consultation involves a child, I need the consent of a parent or guardian before I work with their details.
Payment
Payments are made by Revolut or bank transfer. I never see or store your card details. My bank and Revolut process the payment under their own privacy terms.
When you visit this website
This site does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. It does not build a profile of you.
It also makes no third-party requests. Fonts and images are served from this domain rather than from an outside provider, so your visit is not reported to anyone else.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process technical information such as your IP address and browser type for security and to serve the page. This is standard for any website and is covered by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies.
If you accept or decline the privacy notice shown at the bottom of the page, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so that the notice does not appear again. That is the only thing this site stores on your device, and it never leaves your browser.
You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Why I use your data, and on what legal basis
- To deliver the consultation you asked for — this is necessary to perform our agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To communicate with you about your reading, your questions, and your session.
- For anything sensitive you choose to share in a consultation, I rely on your explicit consent (GDPR Article 9(2)(a)). You are never required to tell me more than you want to.
- To keep the site secure and working — a legitimate interest.
I do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and I do not send marketing emails unless you have specifically asked me to.
Who sees your data
I do not sell your data. I do not share it with advertisers. Nobody else reads your reading.
A small number of service providers necessarily handle data on my behalf:
- My email provider, to send and receive our correspondence.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
- Revolut and my bank, to process payment.
If I ever need to use another tool that processes your data, I will update this policy.
How long I keep it
- Your reading and birth details: kept for as long as you may want support with them, and in any case no longer than three years after our last contact — unless you ask me to delete them sooner.
- Emails: kept for up to three years.
- Payment records: kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
You can ask me to delete your data at any time, and I will, unless I am legally required to keep it.
Confidentiality
What you share with me in a consultation stays between us. I do not discuss clients, and I do not use your story as an example — in content, on social media, or anywhere else — without asking you first and getting your clear agreement.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your data (“the right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict or object to how I use it.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without giving a reason.
To exercise any of these, just email hello@natalsettings.com. I will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how I have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus, or to the data protection authority in your own country.
Security
I keep your information on password-protected, encrypted devices and accounts, and I share it with no one. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable care with everything you trust me with.
Children
My services are for adults. Where a family consultation involves a child’s birth details, I work only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
